Congress netas were agog with plans to invade the residence of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his adviser K V P Ramachandra Rao on Monday to present them bouquets to mark the 41-year anniversary of their fabled friendship.
But the chief minister himself made light of the occasion and his aides said there were no plans to host any celebration of any kind.

The future chief minister was already active in student politics and Ramachandra Rao’s advice proved useful to him, as it would at every turn in YSR’s political career.
Observers said the YSR- KVP association is the centerpiece of the Congress rule in the states. The chief minister is known to trust his chief aide’s advice without reservation.
