Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is on a ten-day visit to the United States and Singapore.
Dr Reddy will be the chief guest at the World Agriculture Congress-2007 to be held at St Louis (Missouri) beginning on May 8.
The three-day meet is expected to focus on several issues that the agricultural sector faces across the world. Issues like addressing the growing need for food, fuel and water for all and the kind of investments the agriculture sector needs to create wealth in emerging economies will come up for deliberation.

Besides his family (including his grandchildren), the chief minister is accompanied by Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, K V P Ramchandra Rao, advisor (public affairs), Jannat Hussain, principal secretary to the chief minister, and G Uday Kumar, chief security officer.
Dr Reddy's visit will focus on agriculture, IT and investment promotion.
