YSV warns against criticism on YSR

Plivendula (Kdapa), Feb. 11: The agriculture minister, Mr Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, war-ned that he would not tolerate if former chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy was personally criticised.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, he said that the Rachchabanda programme was the brainchild of YSR. Mr Vivekananda Reddy said that after YSR was sworn in as chief minister, twice in 2004 and 2009, some leaders indulged in corruption, using his name. He said that YSR had died on September 2, 2009 while going to attend the Rachchabanda programme to curb corrupt practices.

The agriculture minister said that YSR had started Rachchabanda to detect corrupt practices. Mr Vivekananda Reddy said that some leaders were criticising YSR only to target Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He warned that henceforth he would not tolerate criticism on YSR and added that if necessary he would take up the issue with the Congress president, Mrs Sonia Gandhi.

Mr Vivekananda Reddy said that some Congress leaders were also criticising YSR to trouble Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said his family had been in politics with the money earned by his father Y.S. Raja Reddy. Mr Vivekananda Reddy said if YSR was criticised the Congress would only face problems
