Bengaluru I-T officials after Jagan


After the CBI and the Enforcement Direc-torate, the income-tax officials are after Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy now.

I-T officials from Bengaluru filed a petition before the CBI Special Court on Thursday. They are seeking information pertaining to the Kadapa MP’s assets in Bengaluru.

M. Murali, deputy commissioner, I-T Bengaluru, filed the petition seeking information found in the raids and subsequent seizures made by the CBI.

The officials reportedly want to cross-check the list of assets with the I-T returns submitted by the YSR Congress party chief. The Special Judge for CBI cases posted the case to October 24 for further hearing.

In another development, the representatives of Sandur Power that is owned by Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Vijay Sai Reddy, the vice-chairman of Jagathi Publications that publishes the Sakshi newspaper, filed separate petitions in the CBI court requesting for the information seized by the CBI officials.
