YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy is all set to revive his plans to tour the Telangana districts as part of the campaign in the by-elections in the region.
Recently, Jagan held a meeting with party leaders from Telangana and enquired about the situation if he starts his Odarpu Yatra in the region and also asked about chances for his party to win the seats in by-elections. The Telangana YSR Congress leaders have informed to Jagan that his stand on the Statehood issue is a setback to the party in the region.
The Kadapa MP has asked his party leaders to identify the segments where YSR Congress could either win or stand at the second place. He also directed them to work with the only aim of defeating the Congress party in all the segments they contest.
Jagan has already completed his Odarpu Yatra in the Khammam district. But he couldn't continue his tour in the other districts of the region, due to protests from Telangana activists. His attempts to complete the Odarpu Yatra in Mahbubabad in Warangal district backfired, after he extended support to the United Andhra Pradesh.
