YSR CONVIENCED SONIA GANDHI ON TELALNGANA ISSUE

Hyderabad, October 29 : Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was once again summoned to New Delhi on Wednesday by the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi to discuss the Telangana issue. With all other political parties specifying their stand and all of them supporting the demand for a separate Telangana state, the Congress is under tremendous pressure to make its stand clear, especially with elections around the corner.
Sources in the Congress said that Dr Reddy has impressed upon Sonia Gandhi that passing a resolution in the Assembly agreeing to support the formation of a separate Telangana state would be sufficient till the next elections. But Gandhi is uncertain if that would suffice.
