YSR replies to TDP’s Yuva Garjana
: After TDP’s Yuva Garjana, it was Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s turn to turn Guntur district upside down. Like at Yuva Garjana, there was no dearth of crowds for the Chief Minister too when he started his road show in Palanadu area in the district this morning which began at Rentachintala and ended at Sattenapalli.
Enthused by good response, the Chief Minister hit out at both TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Praja Rajyam supremo Chiranjeevi for promising the moon to the electorate. It is the first time that Reddy came out openly against the megastar. He said Chiru had no love for the people of the region. ‘‘He did not visit his native village in West Godavari even once during his 30 years of career in films,’’ he pointed out and took Naidu to task asking him what moral right he had, to offer everything for free now after doing nothing for people during his seven years’ stint as the chief minister.‘‘Naidu is like a person who never bothered to offer food to his mother but made claims that he would buy a necklace for his maternal aunt,’’ he mocked at a whistle-stop meeting
