TDP-JAGAN GROUP MLAS PLACARD WAR IN ASSEMBLY

JAGAN GROUP MLAS

The Legislative Assembly on Saturday witnessed a placard war between MLAs owing allegiance to the former Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and the TD MLAs, levelling serious allegations against each other over the land allotments made to various companies by former Chief ministers Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu and Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy during their tenure. The deputy speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, was forced to adjourn the House thrice within 10 minutes of the commencement of each session.

The TD MLAs displayed placards calling 18 Jagan group MLAs YSR Dongala Mutaa (YSR thieves gang) and other placards which said “one-acre less grandfather has a grandson of Rs 1 lakh crore assets”, while the Jagan group MLAs displayed placards containing photographs of Mr Naidu and which had captions, “Who is the kantri (wicked person) behind allotment of 850 acres to Billi Rao of IMG Bharat?” and “Who made Chittoor dairy defunct for the sake of Heritage dairy?” On top of this, the MIM MLAs rushed to the podium demanding the formation of a House Committee to probe into illegal allotments of Wakf lands to various companies.
