Aluru MLA Changes Tack Again, Wants to Quit Cong

Patil Neeraja Reddy, Congress legislator from Aluru in Kurnool district, met PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana here on Friday and expressed her desire to resign.

The development caught Satyanarayana by surprise.

Neeraja, a supporter of YSR C o n g r e s s c h i e f Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, had called on Botcha just a few days ago and expressed her willingness to stay in the Congress and take an active role in strengthening the party.

At her latest meeting, Neeraja Reddy reportedly told the PCC president that she was vexed with the attitude of Kurnool Congress MP Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy and wanted to quit.

She accused her own party MP of creating obstacles to her at every stage in her public life.
