Jagan targets Congress, TDP
YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy continued his Odarpu Yatra in city for the second day on Tuesday when he criticised the ruling Congress and the opposition Telugu Dessam Party for their “failure” to address the problems of the people.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy started his yatra from the residence of city leader Jaleel Khan and covered Poornandampet, Kedareswarapet, Yerrakatta, Nigam Gate, Wynchipet, Panja Centre, and other places in the city.

Addressing the people, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said the government was not doing anything for the welfare of the minorities and the many welfare programmes launched during Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's regime were being neglected at the stage of implementation.

He asserted that the development process under the present dispensation took a backseat.

At several places, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy had to come down from his vehicle and offer garlands to the photos of YSR at the request of the party sympathisers and followers.

As part of the Odarpu Yatra, he visited the families of several followers, who lost their lives in the wake of YSR's sudden death in the place crash.

He consoled the family members and assured all support from his party.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said instead of playing the role of the opposition party leader, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu was doing the contrary and he colluded with the Congress leaders to undermine the prestige and the image of Rajasekhara Reddy.
