The petitioner, in her 2424-page petition, sought the court to order a full fledged probe into his properties to bring out the truth. Vijayamma told the court that Chandrababu earned properties worth thousands of crores during the TDP regime and alleged that the former chief minister had resorted to illegalities and misuse of power with regard to 18 issues.
She listed out the properties held in the names of Chandrababu’s wife Bhuvaneswari, son Lokesh and mother and also said he owned a hotel in benami names in Singapore. She alleged that industrialist Sujana Chaudary is a benami of Chandrababu Naidu through whom foreign funds were transferred into his Indian bank accounts.
Observing that Chandrababu started life as owner of two acres, Vijayamma wanted the court to find out how he earned properties worth thousands of crores of rupees.
The petition, sources said, is ‘exhaustive’ and goes on to mention in minute detail the various business transactions of Naidu.
It also lists various decisions taken by Naidu during his nine years as chief minister.
‘’A team of well-known chartered accountants prepared the draft which was vetted by top legal brains in Hyderabad and Delhi,’’ sources said.
Sources said the YSR Congress camp carried out an ‘’in-depth investigation’’ of their own over the last two months and gathered ‘’valuable inputs’’ on transactions involving Naidu, both in India and abroad.
