Thota Gopala Krishna no more
Former MP and YSR Congress leader Thota Gopala Krishna, 64, died here on Thursday. He was elected twice to the Lok Sabha as TDP candidate and once to the Assembly from Peddapuram in 2004 on Congress ticket.
Gopala Krishna has recently undergone a by-pass surgery and his health has deteriorated after that. He was admitted to a corporate hospital, where doctors told his relatives that he was brought in a very critical condition. He died on the afternoon of Thursday.
Gopala Krishna was survived by a son and a daughter. YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
